Meet Pudding, but you can call her "Stella" if you like as that was her original name. She’s a 3-year-old Labrador cross female and she adores people!
Pudding originates from NSW from a family who sadly became homeless so had to surrender her and her sister. Although they lived in the same house, they had to be separated as Pudding gets jealous and prefers all the people to herself.
Pudding’s sister got rescued elsewhere and she came to MPDRI. She was first fostered in a home with dogs, but she wasn't happy and growled a bit.
She has been in foster care for three weeks in a home with a child and no other dogs and she loves it.

She may take a few days to warm up, then she will be all yours.
She is also an awesome guard dog and will make sure no one tries to get inside by watching the gate like a hawk!
On walks, she completely ignores the dogs and at the vets, she was fine with them. It is only in the home environment she doesn't want them around.
Pudding is not especially active, just one walk a day is all she needs. She’s not that fussed about toys, games etc, just cuddles and attention suits her fine.
She does suffer a little from separation anxiety and will bark and howl a little, then settle down and go to sleep.
She hasn’t yet been tested with cats, but we think she’d prefer a single-pet home.
If you are after a smoochy girl for a single pet environment, where someone is home most of the time and you have kids, you can't go past Pudding!
