Meet Bulbasaur, (but you can call him Cash). This sweetheart is supposed to be a 2-year-old Staghound x Maremma, but we also see some Bull Arab in him.
Bulbasaur is a stunning boy with a very greyhound physique and height and a bushy end to his tail! He had two owners before he was surrendered to MPDRI as neither of his owners had time for him sadly.
This sweetheart has been in foster care for a few weeks now and boy has he come along in leaps and bounds. From an unsettled scared boy to a much more self-assured man.
Bulbasaur loves exploring and checking out his local surroundings. He is awesome with other dogs, is very tolerant with dogs in his face and will simply back away when it gets too much. He even play-bowed with a tiny puppy! He’s so dog-friendly and MUST have another dog for company.
Cats are super fun to chase, so unless you are willing to do very slow introductions with him, we think he’d be best without them or pocket pets.
Bulbasaur met a 6-year-old child and calmly sniffed his body and face. We believe he'd be great with kids. He’s such a gentle boy.
When left in a car or home without another human, Bulbasaur will bark. We are currently working with vets to discover whether this is behavioural or separation anxiety. It is lessening every day.
He will need a large backyard and to go on a daily walk. He’s a young boy with so much to learn.
